The charter league regular season is over for us…and we are UNDEFEATED! We head into the tournament in first place. Our first tournament game will be held at home on Oct 29 at 4:30pm. If/when we win, we will continue to play Friday, Oct 30 in the final four and then Saturday, Oct 31 for the championship.
BUT FIRST, we finish out this week with our toughest games yet against some top 1A schools: Valley Lutheran on Tuesday, Gilbert Christian on Thursday, and Veritas on Friday (all away games). I think it’s time to load up the busses to give our team some home town support!!!
Our varsity is on top of their game. Come out and see us finish strong!

CPA JV Volleyball Players and Parents,
The girls played fantastic volleyball on Friday… I hope you were able to attend. It is amazing how far the girls have come in one short season. We’ve decided to go 5 days in this our final week and hopefully be able to arrange a “real” scrimmage vs. the varsity on Wednesday.
The Practice and Game Schedule for this week is as follows :

Tuesday 10/20/09 4:00pm Game vs. Valley Lutheran (early release @ 2:30pm -
leave CPA by 2:50 to be @ VLHS by 3:30pm)

Thursday 10/22/09 4:00pm Game vs. Gilbert Christian (release @ 2:50pm – leave
CPA by 3:00pm to be @ GCS by 3:30pm
Friday 10/23/09 5:00pm Game vs. Veritas Prep Academy (release at normal
time – leave CPA by 3:30pm to be @ Kingdom Courts by
4:30pm)
Monday 10/19/09 4:00 – 6:00pm Official Scrimmage vs. Varsity @ MBC
The varsity coaches asked the girls yesterday for a scrimmage on Monday (with a referee and everything) as a way to help them prepare for their tournament next week. The girls commitment to the team (other than the sports dessert) will expire on that day.
